REX (AKA DYNAMO) has ARRIVED and he is here to take over. This 40 min mix of some of the finest jump up tracks around right now is the perfect showcase for a man who is going places fo sho.

This would also be the best time to announce that REX has also agreed to become a member of the OFFICIAL MNUVRS CREW alongside his partner in crime and Mnuvrs Mixtape [2] producer; ZOLTAR. REX will be producing some more mixtapes for the site in the future and let’s be honest, if they are anything like this last one then we can not wait!!!

Biography:

For over five years Rex has been DJing, playing & producing music. In 2003, Rex helped write and produce the album for a music project run by The Garrick Theatre in Lichfield, which later lead to running a bi-weekly club night. Throughout his time at university, Rex ventured into many musical projects, exhibitions and bar & club nights in Nottingham, UK. From 2004 Rex has played out at successful nights such as Volt at RIDE Bar in Nottingham, played here weekly for two years, where DYNAMO & ZOLTAR hooked up and begun playing alongside each other, and played out at the cities larger club STEALTH, easily one of the best clubs in the UK!

In 2005 Rex’s producing and mastering skills were refined at Confetti Studios (Nottingham). He has created a number of original tracks, remixes, mashups, edits & mixtapes that were too unleashed onto blogs and found in mixtapes. Moving to London in 2007 really unleashed more ideas and aspirations for Rex’s career. At this time D&Z (DYNAMO & ZOLTAR) wrote their first track “SLAMMA”!! Rex also created the Siriusmo Vs Wiseguys mashup requested and played out by the likes of the BLACK GHOSTS.

Through D&Z’s collaboration, the pair built a very good relationship with LEE NORMAN WILLIAMS founder of the legendary NLLR Mixtape Project, and released “SLAMMA” on the label. Early on in 2008 Rex was summoned to play the massive DOLLOP night at The Old Blue Last, London for what turned out to be a banging night of hip-hop, house and general fun. Since emigrating to Nuremberg 10 months ago Rex has made many connections within the local club and has recently played alongside the likes of BEN MONO and MOLINEUX @ Club Stereo a main source of Electro/Indie/Bass for the city. Rex also DJ’ed at the official “Sex And The City” after-show party at the Rio club, Nuremberg. He shall be traveling back & forth to DJ in the UK and across Europe to DJ from now on until he returns to the UK.
