Boom! Ear-plugs ready! So, the last few weeks have been fairly busy. And last week was no different. MNUVRS covered a special night of Booty-Breakin’ Bavarian Bounce, with South Rakkas Crew and Munichs very own finest Schlachthof Bronx. Lined with a wall of Subs any bass-scientist would be proud of, The Rote Sonne Club played host to Baile Funk, Jum Up, Crunk, Big Beat, Hop Hop all night. Big shouts to The Rotte Sonne Club bar-tenders…Keep those shots-a-coming.

Reppin’ with ‘Dow, who single handedly represented the South Rakkas due to mix-ups with passports at the airport, he laid down a fine set, spawling from dirty electro and bassline to old-school hip hop jams. And our boy Benny with his counterpart Jacob of Schlachthof Bronx provided the baile-funk, house, bass that they are known for, driving and ultimately forging Munich’s underground club scene. These guys are my hot tip for 2009. Schlachthof Bronx have been real busy in the studio, and Mnuvrs received a pre-release copy of their anticipated, but not yet named album! It’s a killer collection of creative, jump-up, fun, grimey, underground, fresh bass-beats with enough tropicana, reggae, baile-funk to get your teeth into. Due to licensing, we don’t have the permission to drop any track samplers yet, but we will as soon as we have the yes word! The offering of tracks definately received good measure so far from the reactions of the crowd, and is up there with the most refreshing house music around. 

Schlachthof Bronx have also agreed to put together a Mnuvrs Mixtape, which we are all very very excited about! Watch this Vault! You heard it, and saw it here first! 2009 looks to be Schlachthof Bronx’ year!
