Good evening everyone. It’s been a little while since our last outing into the world of mixtapes hasn’t it! Well we have been very busy as im sure you can understand. We have been enjoying the likes of Mixcloud, where we have been posting our older entries from our Vault. We have also been busy sourcing some of the hottest mixes from some of the worlds newest talents. And that brings us to this post, our 14th entry into the Mnuvrs Mixtape Vault by the highly skilled B-XENTRIC!

Featuring tracks by artists such as THE GOLDEN FILTER, BAG RAIDERS and THE ROBOT DISASTER this mix by B-XENTRIC! is a cracking insight into some of the more uplifting house and electronic music doing the rounds at the moment and is a fabulous example of the music B-XENTRIC! can be heard playing around the UK right now. It has been very refreshing for us to hear a mix is of a style that allows for the majority of each track to play before being mixed out. We have been very used to quick mixing with vast numbers of tracks fitted into 45 minute to 1 hour sets and this was a very welcome alternative. That is not to say we are fast mixing and vast track lists, everything in moderation right?

BIO:
“B-XENTRIC got his first set of decks in 2007. He locked himself in his room, practicing everyday and still does to this day having now swapped from vinyl to CDJ’s. In January 2008, B-XENTRIC! played his first gig at Nottingham’s cult club, STEALTH (a Mnuvrs Crew favourite; we can often be found throwing exotic shapes here!), supporting Round Table Knights which went down a storm for the young lad. From there, B-XENTRIC, like a whole host of other potentials, went on a mission of making mixes and sending them out to anyone and everyone before slowly amassing some support via MySpace and Facebook. His next gig was for a night Pete Cavell of Gash DJs at Sankeys in Manchester. B-EXCENTRIC was then invited back to Stealth in April of 2008 and supported Andy George and Jaymo where he was made aware of their rapidly growing night Moda, a night that B-XCENTRIC now set his heart on playing at, making it his mission. Our man played another gig for Pete Carvell during this time who has shown unrelented support for the man, to get his sound out to the kids of the UK and also played at Lancaster University for Pete Carvells night there. It was after this that B-EXENTRIC got his call to play at Mode in November of last year and fortnately for him the crowd reacted positively resulting in a second invite back in December before being asked to become a resident for the famouse Lincolnshire night.

2009 is going to see the start of B-XENTRICs production work and remixes having already completed his first for ‘Pegase’ (lead singer of Minitel Rose) and nearly completing his second for ‘Nightwaves’, he wants to get more gigs around the UK and share his passion with the crowds up and down the land.”
