Recently we have ben enjoying the happy sounds of the Disco Cut Up from a new artist we had not come across before until recently; PHONAT. Currently signed to MOFO HIFI Records, PHONAT originates from Italy but currently resides in London, UK after being snapped up by the label and convinced to re-locate. PHONAT’s MySpace is labelled as producing “Italian Pop” and he has already been picked up by the likes of Andy George, Jaymo and Annie Mac and is being championed accross BBC Radio 1 right now too.

All we know is we have been enjoying his tracks and look forward to more in the future.

We are also a fan of PHONAT’s artwork which is currently being produced by TWO THINGS, who look to have an impressive list of clients and a portfolio to match. Well worth checking out.
