HELLO. Welcome back to the Mnuvrs Mixtape Vault and with this return we are very happy to showcase and announce our new M2V resident, Zoltar.

Zoltar started DJing 4 years ago during University at Nottingham Trent and spent some time improving his skills at The Confetti Music School, Notts. He spent a year in Peterborough where he got involved in some production work and had a mini mix played on the almighty BBC Radio 1, Annie Mac show (link to minimix). Final year of University Zoltar accumulated some experience playing out in a number of clubs/bars around Nottingham, including Ride, The Social and Bar None.

After his final year at Nottingham Trent, Zoltar moved to Paris for 3 months where he spent a lot of time producing, creating edits and remixes for his own mixes, which were later scattered around various music blogs on the net. These tracks and mixes were then picked up by Lee Norman Williams, owner of No Love Lost Records (NLLR), straight out of New York city.

Since returning to London, Zoltar has produced 3 live mixes for The NLLR Mixtape Project (other contributors to this project include BBC Radio 1′s ANDY GEORGE, LILLICA LIBERTINE, CRYPTONITES, ZOMBIE DISCO SQUAD, BRODINSKI, GRUM, KAP10KURT, AC SLATER, HOSTAGE and RAFFERTIE.)

Zoltar is currently working closely with a good friend of Mnuvrs, Dynamo Gold. Although not based in the same location (Dynamo in Germany and Zoltar in the South of England), the team are working closely on some new material, the first since their summer track “Slamma”.

Zoltar has kindly agreed to become the new Mnuvrs Mixtape Vault Resident and we shall expect regular mixes from him over the coming months. To get things started though we have an absolute bombshell of a mix from the man himself. Featuring the likes of Crookers, Hervé and Sinden, The Disco Villains and NE.R.D, Zoltar has showcased fantastically his tight mixing and awesome tune selection. So without further ado, here is the mix:
